Self Motivation tips

Nobody has the ability to motivate themselves better then you can motivate yourself that is why we call it self-motivation. The number one Self-motivation tip is the knowing that self motivation comes from the inside of us, not an external process.

Here are a few self motivation tips:

Self Motivation tips #1 Reflect and write down all your goals you want to achieve on a piece of paper.

To get yourself motivated, you will need to know what you want to achieve. You will need to implement a short and long term plan. Which ever road you choose it will have to be an achievable and realistic goal. If you set your goals to high that it can not be reached you are setting yourself up for failure and that is not very motivating.

Once you know your goals write them down on a piece of paper and put it where it is visible to you at all times, read it at least 5 to 10 times a day. |Always speak as if you already have the things you want in life and visualize what it will be like when all your dreams are realized. Talk about your goals and dreams until you really believe they are real.

Self Motivation tips #2 Stop Procrastinating:

Procrastination is a huge motivation killer. Put time limits on the project you are doing. Always be very specific on how long you will work on a certain project.

The feeling that there is a time crunch will motivate you to get your project completed. Use this self motivation tip on anything you need to get done, whether it is a small or large project. Be careful though and make your time frame realistic, it is not healthy to create unnecessary stress from a goal you set for yourself.

Self Motivation Tips #3 Reward Yourself:

Everybody likes to be rewarded when they accomplish something or a goal they have been working on, so reward yourself when you finish a project in the time frame you had given yourself so you have something to look forward to as a reward for finishing.

Just do not wallow in your own pride forever. Always create new goals when one is finished. Successful entrepreneurs are always looking for new ways to improve themselves and their lives.

Self motivation Tips #4 Have some Fun:

Home based businesses can be incredibly hard work, so a good sense of humor is a extremely important in your success recipe. Try not to take yourself or your business too seriously. Learning to enjoy yourself while you work your home based business keeps you enthusiastic and motivated, and staying enthusiastic and motivated helps you keep your stress levels under control.

Self motivation is its own reward and a jewel in the cap of your new-found freedom in succeeding with your very own work from home business. I hope these self motivation tips will help you succeed in life.

Achieve Your Goals

How To Get Motivation To Achieve Your Goals? by Larry Rivera

Finding motivation to achieve your goals could be the bridge that link towards its realization. Most of us have goals that we aspire to reach. It enables you to strive harder and do better in what you are currently doing, whether at home, school, or work. And when faced with obstacles, some people readily admit defeat and give up on their goals. Motivation is what keeps you from quitting and overcoming hurdles to keep your eye on the goal.

What is Motivation?

Goals are as diverse as people's personalities are. Goals can either be simple or complex such as a job promotion, vacation to a foreign country, buying a new car, or acquiring a scholarship. The same also goes with people's motivational needs. Hence, aiming towards your goals is no good without enough motivation that serves as your driving force to realizing them.

Despite constant planning and efforts to moving forward in your goal, failures or unexpected results could happen. Without enough motivation, you could easily give up. Therefore, motivation plays a crucial role in the process. Aside from focusing on the goal itself, think about what there is to you once you have achieved the goal. Is it personal achievement or rewards that you aim to reach? Then, you can devise ways to address your motivational needs.

How to Stay Motivated?

Here are ways to motivate yourself towards achieving your goals:

1.Think of the past and future. This might seem confusing to others but you need to balance between your past achievements and what you intend to achieve in the future. Reminding yourself of previous accomplishments will give you the boost you need to double your efforts. After all, you have done it before and there is no way you cannot accomplish it this time.

2.Break it down to smaller goals. When you have one major goal, better break them down into smaller and more accessible goals. Then, these smaller goals will serve as steps you take until you reach that major goal.

3.Change perspectives. Whatever successes or failures you've encountered in the past, take lessons from out of it and motivate yourself to do better each time. Then, you would be able to focus on whatever it takes to get to your desired goal. If you find something isn't working in your efforts toward the goal, evaluate and change them if necessary.

4.Share your goals to others. Letting others know about your goal works two-ways: it gives you that extra push to work on your goal and you can be assured that there are people that are willing to remind you in case you lose track of your goals.

Increasing Motivation

The best way to start with increasing your motivation is making a personal change. You will be amazed at how much power your mind holds over what you can do. To start that change, ask yourself a series of questions:

-What is my goal? -What do I need to achieve it? -What am I looking to achieve by realizing this goal?

These are just basic questions and you can add up the list if you want. The way you speak or act, and your priorities reflect your belief system. Hence, by reprogramming your belief system in such a way that it will facilitate towards working on your goal will make you more effective and motivated.

Finding the right motivation to achieve your goals might be that one thing that stands between its realization.

Success Motivation

Progress: Key to Success Motivation by Richard Onebamoi

Progress, progress, progress is the name of the game my friends. For, progress, is key to success motivation. Everyone that I know wants to progress and move forward uninhibited in any way possible. It's unbelievable the level of frustration, unhappiness and dissatisfaction that ensue from the lack of progress either personally or professionally today in our society. It is simply improbable to progress without any definite direction, sense of purpose and crystal clear goals. The development of your potential(s) and the understanding of your unique intent will bring about progress, fulfillment and satisfaction beyond your wildest dream. On the other hand, please understand that there is no fulfillment and satisfaction in stagnation but unhappiness and frustration.

Most people set goals and are fired up to achieving them but too soon all that enthusiasm and motivation dissipate into the ether allowing their dreams and expectation go unfulfilled just for the lack of progress. Is it to lose that unwanted weight, to build a business or to read that book whatever your goal is, to have fulfillment and satisfaction you've got to have a way to measure your progress daily and celebrate every inch of it. It is important to measure the progress so as to keep your success motivation at an appreciable level. Undeniably, success is all about, making daily progress congruent with your core values and moving onward and upward toward your desired outcome.

You came into this world with incredible potential(s) surrounded by the possibilities of success, happiness and achievement. You were designed and wired up for forward motion as you harness your innate potential(s) and explore the unending possibilities that abound within and without. Rich DiGirolamo observed, "Belief in yourself, belief in your abilities, will override fear almost every time. The only thing we are afraid of is what we are capable of accomplishing." Some of the beliefs that you hold have been developed over a period of time because of what you have experienced in the past or your orientation in life. It will be remarkable to discover that some of the beliefs you have embraced encompasses nothing with your present reality but because these are long held beliefs you hold on to them at the expense of your overall wellbeing. This is negating all your efforts to progress toward the attainment of your purpose.

Self-limiting belief is the one single obstacle to any meaningful progress the key to success motivation in any aspect of life. These are beliefs that will hinder your progress and your ability to move forward. Beliefs such as lack of intelligence, creativity, personality, the inability to speak publicly, inability to earn higher income or the inability to achieve your goals and the likes are all enemies of progress. Even if you are setting goals, making plans and taking action, self-limiting beliefs will sabotage your progress and undermine the greatness that lies within you.

Conclusion

You have to identify the origin of your self-limiting beliefs, change your associations, read and listen to empowering materials, stay away from anything that is toxic to your state of mind and Find a mentor who can walk you through some of these detours. Follow these steps to achieve any goal you set for yourself, whether it's weight loss, health gain, extended longevity, or something else altogether. Remember success is all about progress toward your desired expectation. Begin now and see that you are unstoppable.

Minimize the Stress

How to Minimize the Stress of Moving by Ki Gray

Regardless of whether it's across the country or across town, moving is a stressful, expensive and time-consuming event. It requires extensive planning, organization, and a lot of physical activity. While there is no easy way to move house, there are several things you can do to simplify the process and reduce the amount of stress on yourself.

First things first: identify a target moving date. You'll want to take a variety of factors into consideration when determining your moving timeframe, such as work schedules if you're changing employment, school schedules for your kids, housing considerations such as rent or lease terms, and even the weather. A good rule of thumb is to give yourself a two-to-three week window to complete your entire move, from packing and cleaning your current residence, to moving itself, to unpacking and organizing in your new home.

Summer is always a peak moving time particularly for families, as it provides for minimal interruption in kids' school schedules but it's also typically the hottest and least physically comfortable time of year to be doing all that heavy lifting. While unpleasant, blistering heat is not likely to be a deal breaker, but it is worth taking into consideration (scheduling your move for late May as opposed to mid-July, for example, could make a significant difference).

Once you've worked out a timeframe for your move, it's time to take inventory of your home. The most important part of this process is identifying what to keep, and what to get rid of before the move there is no sense in moving items you don't plan on keeping long-term. A good way to determine what to keep and what to lose is to divide your household into three categories: 'Must Keep,' 'May Keep,' and 'Don't Need.' Once you've gotten rid of the 'Don't Need' items, go back through the 'May Keep' piles and eliminate everything you can.

If you're having trouble knowing when to let go of something, apply the six-month test: If it hasn't been used in the past six-months, you don't need it (the exception here, of course, would be season items like winter coats, box fans, etc., that aren't intended for use year-round). Tip: Don't automatically throw things you no longer need away there are plenty of charity organizations that are constantly accepting donations of all kinds to help others in the community, and they would be happy to have your unwanted items. Plus, you can write off the donations for a nice tax break next April.

Now that your household is organized and you've done a thorough inventory of everything that will be making the move with you, it's time to start thinking about the logistics of actually moving it all. The easiest way to do it (but also the most expensive) is to hire a full-service moving company (*Note: Be sure to shop around for the best rate, and check out customer reviews online to make sure you choose a reputable company that won't rip you off). They'll come to your house, pack everything up, ship it off for you, and unpack at your new home. The next option a bit more time consuming and work-intensive on your part, but certainly less expensive is to pack and unpack yourself, but hire movers for the heavy lifting and physical transportation part of the process. All you have to pay for is the time they spend physically moving your possessions.

A third option would be to rent a truck and pack, lift and move everything yourself. There are plenty of truck rental services designed just for these kinds of projects, and their rates are typically very reasonable (although rising gas prices may make this option slightly less appealing). Finally, if you're determined to spend as little as possible, get a group of kind-hearted friends and their cars together and make moving a group activity. You can typically get away with a small payment to each helper, or the cost of dinner for the group. This is certainly the most labor-intensive option, but it won't cost you much at all.

Once you've chosen the right moving method for you, get everything planned out and scheduled at least 4-6 weeks in advance. Also, it's a good idea to begin the organization and overall move-out process as early as possible, so as to avoid having to cram it all packing, cleaning, moving into a few days or a weekend. Hit your local grocery or wholesale store to pick up empty boxes for free and pack up seasonal items and other things you don't use on a daily basis early on fancy china, extra bedding, etc. While prolonging the moving process isn't exactly fun, spacing the massive task out will significantly reduce your stress level and help you feel more relaxed, prepared and in control of the process.

No matter how well you prepare, moving is always at least somewhat stressful, so do what you can to reduce that stress ahead of time, breathe deeply, and remember: it will be over before you know it.

Severe Weather

Severe Weather: 5 Tips for Coping with Weather Stress by Sara Healy

When severe weather is upon us, we experience weather stress. Our bodies go into crisis mode. Adrenaline starts to flow in reaction to the emergency situation. This helps us take action. We seek safety and protect ourselves and our family from the impact of the weather.

It's after things calm down that weather stress begins to turn on us. The adrenaline that helped us during and immediately after the severe weather does not go away. Even as flood waters begin to recede, stress levels often continue to rise.

This is when weather stress can be very dangerous.

Unfortunately, we frequently don't realize what's happening. The physical crisis has passed. Therefore, we may ignore our stress. That is, until our normally calm and cool neighbor suddenly blows up in anger, our children begin to have nightmares, or we find ourselves crying on the shoulder of a stranger for no particular reason.

Suddenly, we realize something's not right. We got through the worst of it, but our friends, family and others are still showing symptoms of severe weather stress.

What can we do? Here are some tips that may help you, or people around you, cope more effectively with prolonged weather stress:

** Recognize that people may feel irritable, sad, angry or guilty after a weather disaster.

These feelings are very common! So, be patient with yourself and others. People may not act normally after severe weather hits. Like any crisis, this kind of weather causes emotional trauma. Usually with time, this trauma heals itself. If it doesn't, seek out qualified help for yourself or encourage others to seek it.

** Share your experiences with others.

Getting your feelings out about a weather disaster is very important. It helps you feel more in control and less vulnerable. In addition, sharing what's happened to you and hearing the stories of others, creates a feeling of togetherness in the weather crisis, which keeps you from feeling isolated.

** Take good care of your physical condition.

Stress takes a BIG toll on your body. Eat healthy foods as much as possible. When it's safe, find ways to exercise or get out of your house. Also, remember to relax and rest, even if you've got a lot of cleaning up to do. Taking good care of yourself and your family will help relieve the effects of weather stress.

** Help others in your neighborhood, community and town.

Assisting others in your community is a way to do something positive. When you're involved in helping someone else, you don't have as much time to feel stressed about your own situation. In addition, sharing the work created by a weather disaster reinforces your sense of community.

** Remember to laugh.

However incongruent it may seem to laugh, it's actually good for you during a weather crisis. Laughter is a wonderful stress buster. It has been proven to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve the immune system and, in general, make you feel better. So, go ahead and laugh and encourage others to do so too.

Severe weather is a fact of life. When it hits where we live, there WILL BE weather stress. Therefore, as we prepare our homes for severe weather, so too should we prepare ourselves emotionally for the impact of this weather. Recognizing weather stress and taking steps to alleviate it is the best way to keep it from overwhelming us.

Releasing Stress

Releasing Stress in Small Ways by Pat Brill

The one thing that virtually all people have in common is the stress of living in this modern age. So much has changed in the last 25 years. Yet all generations had to grow up and take on the responsibilities of raising a family, making a living and figuring out their place in this complicated world.

Stress comes from several sources. Obviously, the first place most people think is work. We think of work as a source of stress because it is a place where making a living is important to our well-being. There are daily demands, deadlines and schedules to be met. In addition, most of us have to deal with at least one difficult person during our workdays, which only compound the stress.

Stress doesn't end when we walk out of our workplace. Traffic itself can be stressful. Then the joys of raising children and marriage can also bring some trials with them as well. It is common to come home from a difficult day only to face problems at home. The stress and anxiety just keep mounting up.

There is good stress that adds value to our lives. This type of stress motivates us to move forward in a direction that we want to create for ourselves. Our intention is one of self-care, even if it is challenging in the beginning.

When we speak of stress, we usually mean the difficult issues. Too much stress can lead to serious medical and mental problems if we don't develop some coping techniques to deal with it.

Some good small, but effective coping mechanisms that you may find helpful to defray the stress in your life include:

Get away from it.

To put the cares of the world in perspective, we have to get away from them for awhile. If nothing else, just soaking in a hot bathtub with a good magazine and some happy music can wash away the cares of the world and let them swirl down the drain with the bubbles. Look for chances to relax and put those worries aside for a little bit. It will help you calm your mind, rest your system and be ready to deal with those issues without so much anxiety, which doesn't help you at all.

Collaborate with your family.

Your family doesn't want to see you stressed out. They don't always understand how much they add to your problems when they throw the problems of the day at you as soon as you walk through the door. Remember that they are stressed with school or issues of work and relationships too. So partner together to create a little time to just be a family and 'love away' that tension together. Everybody will be better for it.

Take time for health.

It's strange but our diet and rest are the things we need the most to cope with stress and yet those are the areas of life that are most damaged if we let stress wear us down. So go back to basics and make sure you get good meals, good rest and take care of yourself. It will make you a better worker and stronger for your family as well.

Stress can be a serious concern to your well-being. You are responsible for taking care of yourself...no one else. If you take action to keep stress from dominating your life, you are doing something good for yourself, which will only help you deal with problems and solve them with creativity and intelligence.

Manage Your Stress

Manage Your Stress By Managing Your Time by Paul Hata

Are you one of those people who wishes you had a 30-hour day? Do you long for having enough time to homeschool your children, cook gourmet meals, tend a garden, care for a large, five-bedroom house, play the piano, and sit by the fire reading a good book? The fact of the matter is many Americans today are operating under a time crunch. We simply don't have enough hours in the day to accomplish all that we want to.

The situation creates an enormous amount of stress. We may feel as if we are constantly operating under a deadline. We may feel fatigued and frustrated, and we may wonder if we are missing out on much of life because we spend so much time doing and not enough time thinking. We're stressed at work, stressed at home, and stressed at our son's soccer match.

The irony is, the more we do, the more behind we seem to get. We are constantly on the run, yet we may feel as if we are accomplishing very little. As a result, our pessimism grows. We may become short-tempered, especially with those we love. We may feel as if we are constantly running on empty.

The good news is there is hope, even in the midst of what might seem a hopeless situation. We can get control of our lives and control of our time. It may take a little bit of effort and time, but it will be well worth it in the long run. The first step we need to take is prioritization.

Many people feel as if they lack time to do the important things in life simply because they do not take the time to prioritize. Write down a list of your goals for the week, for the year, and for the next five years.

When you do your initial brainstorming, you can list the goals in any order you like. Then go through the goals and rank them in order of importance. After that task is completed, figure out just how much time you would need to accomplish each goal. You may find that just five minutes here or there can make all the difference in the world in achieving the items on your priority list.

Next, learn to multi-task effectively. That time you spend waiting in the line at the drive-thru window could be spent balancing your checkbook. Or the time you spend paused at the cash register could be used to read a book or a magazine. In general, you should not think of lines as time-wasters. Rather, consider them opportunities to accomplish some small, yet important, tasks.

In order to be effective as a worker, spouse, and parent, you'll need some alone time. Get an appointment book and actually schedule a block of time just for yourself. Your alone time could be spent praying, re-evaluating your priorities, charting your progress, or just fixing yourself a nice dessert. Just be sure that you have some alone time each day. Otherwise, you'll be shortchanging yourself, and you'll feel more stressed as a result.

Don't be afraid to say no. You cannot be a cub scout leader, girl scout leader, fundraising chair, and prima ballerina all at one time. You'll need to pick and choose your assignments, both your professional assignments and your personal ones.

If you simplify your life, you might be surprised at how much time you'll gain and how much better you will feel. Sometimes, it takes some backbone to say no. You might disappoint someone. But, in the end, you'll be much better off, knowing that you have not overcommitted yourself.

You should consider your time to be as precious as the President's. There are a number of duties which make demands on your time, those you love and those you don't care for. By employing some innovative scheduling techniques, you can set aside the time for those things that are truly important to you.

You'll be less stressed, more relaxed, and better able to cope with the challenges you encounter on a daily basis. As you become less stressed out, you might find that your children, spouse, and friends follow your lead. And your world will become more harmonious as a result.

Need for Personal Growth

The

More than ever we are in need of Personal Growth on a global level. We are in dire straits because of a general worldwide lack of knowledge and awareness of what’s possible when we create extraordinary lives for ourselves and each other. We can all contribute to the one world community and make the planet a bet ter place. The norm has been people who spread negative news, promote fast food and pharmaceutical concoctions rather than address the cause of real life issues.

We have been trained, to varying degrees, to obey authority, work hard, and to speak when called on. The educational system instills an early model for learning that conditions our behavior as adults. Some of you may be going through life, day-in and day-out, just working hard, watching TV, eating junk food, and falling into bed at night. You may be living on autopilot rather than directing your energies and living life to its fullest.

Think about it: You are the producer, director, and actor of the movie called your life. To live an outstanding life, which includes doing what you love and being all you can be, you need to be proactive and deliberate on designing your destiny.

Today’s world demands that powerful people step up and take a stand f

or what’s important. Together we can challenge systems that no longer serve us and create new structures that will be designed more effectively to set us up for success.

The quality of our lives depends on us and how we choose to live. The choices we make ultimately shape our lives and many of us are waking up to this fact. With movies such as What The Bleep Do We Know!?™ and The Secret, people are becoming aware that there is more to life than what meets the eye. The Power of Personal Growth offers you significant awareness and knowledge so you can make empowering choices to positively impact your life.

Soul Mate

Believe Your Soul Mate is Out There

Believing that your soul mate is out there is critical to the preparation of manifesting him or her into your life. The basic law of attraction states that you will attract to you those things that match your state of belief.

I believe that the Universe is always mirroring back to us our beliefs about ourselves and the world. If we believe the world is a loving and friendly place, then most of the time that will be our experience. If we believe the world is a chaotic, stressful and fearful place, then that becomes our reality. So, believing and knowing that your soul mate is out there is part of the formula for manifestation. If you do not yet believe with 100% certainty that your soul mate is out there, let’s begin to look for things that will make a believer out of you.

Do you believe you are loveable? If you are reading this then I am certain you are loveable. Why? Because, loveable people want more love in their lives. But, if you believe you are not loveable, I’m going to ask you to challenge that belief. Take a moment to identify at least three (or more) lovable traits that you possess, such as being generous, compassionate, friendly, kind, considerate, thoughtful, interesting, funny, etc. Write these down and then memorize them. You will be using them shortly for your treasure map.

I know many very attractive, successful single people who have some very negative, limiting beliefs when it comes to finding their soul mate.

The list usually goes something like this:
I’m too old.
I’m too fat.
I’m too damaged.
I have too much baggage.
I am too successful.
I am not successful enough.
All the good ones are taken.
Nobody I want wants me.

These are just knee-jerk excuses to keep you stuck. There is plenty of evidence that love is available to everyone regardless of age, weight or income or any other feeble excuse. What if I told you that it’s not your job to know HOW your soul mate is going to appear? It’s only your job to be ready, willing and open to love.

You don’t really know where air or water comes from but you totally believe that they are there for you. As a human being you know that air and water are your divine right. You know that no matter what mistakes you have made in the past, you are still going to wake up every day and have access to air and water. The same is true for love. It’s there for you. It’s always been there for you. You just need to remember the love that you are and once you do, the Universe will deliver to you the perfect soul mate. There is nothing for you to do, there is only a way for you to BE.
